Grants up to $350
Application Deadline Extended to: November 30, 2026

Gathering for a Purpose: Second Chance Grants are intended to promote church health and vitality by supporting ideas that help people gather with a defined purpose and participate in God's ongoing work of renewal, justice, and hope. It supports creative opportunities for congregations to come together in ways that nurture faith, deepen relationships, explore different perspectives, and/or serve the world God loves.

We are called to grow as disciples in community, thus this grant encourages gatherings such as an education event, guest speaker, community service project, community field trip, new worship experience, new curriculum, book study, etc. Projects may be designed for your congregation, your wider community, or both.

Congregations are encouraged to use grant funds to create opportunities for meaningful relationships, shared spiritual experiences, new learning, and faithful engagement with the needs and hopes of the communities we are called to serve.

Please note: These grant funds are not meant to be used for food or beverage costs.
