Using the Resource Center
- Come in person (we're on the second floor of the Presbytery Office and now also in Batavia, First.)
- Call, write or email to request resources to be mailed
- Please reserve material as far in advance as your planning allows
- Borrow any number of resources for up to three weeks
- Visit the Resource Table at Stated Meetings and special events of the Presbytery to borrow display materials, pick-up resources or return borrowed resources
Our Satellite Office in Batavia, First
The Presbytery of Genesee Valley Resource Center was recently awarded $7500 by the Synod of the Northeast through the Frank E. Clark Trust. Some funds were used to purchase a second digital projector and laptop computer.
The good news is that we are able to offer a “satellite” office in the First Presbyterian Church of Batavia to make this equipment more readily available to congregations in the southern and western parts of our presbytery. Christian Educator Robin Woodams has agreed to be the caretaker.
The mission of the Resource Center is to “support and encourage the mission and ministry of the congregations of the Presbytery.” We invite you to explore new ways to enhance your congregation's worship and education experience.
Both Susan Orr and Robin Woodams are available for guidance on how to operate the media equipment. All scheduling of equipment in any location should be arranged through at the Resource Center.
The Resource Center is THE place to look for everything you need to assist your church’s mission and ministry, including multimedia presentational equipment.
