Stewardship That Works!
Presented by the Stewardship Development and Interpretation Committee
Come learn about effective stewardship programs being used in our presbytery's churches. These are programs that work!
- Hear success stories from the First Presbyterian Churches of Byron, Caledonia and East Avon.
- Learn from their theology of using God's blessings and
- hear the details of the programs that work in their specific congregations.
We are presenting programs that we know are supporting budgets, missions and ministry. Come experience the good news and be prepared to share your own ideas, questions and experiences.
Reinvigorate Your Church’s Website
Leader: Bruce Wilbur, Presbytery Webmaster
How effective is your web site? How effective is ours?
Every web site needs improvement and regular freshening. Join us as we review and critique web sites within the Presbytery, and compare them to selected benchmark sites.
Mission Trips, Retreats, and Other Mountaintops… Connecting Spiritual Highs and Faith Formation
Leaders: Niki Brodeur, Coordinator for Youth Ministry, First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford; and Jane Carden, Youth Ministry Coordinator, Third Presbyterian Church
There are many opportunities for mountaintop experiences when you work with teenagers, such as retreats, short term mission trips, outreach events, etc. But how do we make these experiences an integral part of our teens’ faith formation, rather than afterthoughts?
Come for ideas and suggestions to meld mission and faith formation, as well as the opportunity to share the mountaintop scenes from your youth ministry with others.
Q&A for Clerks of Session Leader: Lynne Peffley, Former Clerk of Session, Lima Presbyterian Church
Do you have questions or need suggestions about your role and the Minutes Book?
If so, this is the session for you. Come and prepare for the reading of the minutes books in the fall.
