Lectionary Study Group
The Lectionary at Lunch: Preaching with Preachers
- Mondays, 12:15–1:30pm
- In the Grace Beaven Lounge at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School
- 1100 Goodman St S, Rochester, NY [ map ]
- Please bring your own lunch (Food and drink)
At these weekly collegial gatherings, preachers will together reflect both on “what went well” in the pulpit yesterday, and on the coming Sunday’s Lectionary readings. By attending to preaching as a communal vocation undertaken in partnership, we will hopefully deepen appreciation for the variety of contexts in which the Word is proclaimed and for the ways we can enhance our own ministries of preaching.
Facilitator:
- Barbara Moore, RSM, D.MIN
- Interfaith Ministry of Preaching
- Preaching experience in 13 denominations
- Faculty Associate, CRCDS
